 Fremont Peak cache site
Geocaching AdventuresI just wanted to let everyone know how nice the hike is to Fremont Peak off Hwy 395. The view is fantastic. The cache site container was very nice and well placed.

 The Joy of Geocaching
Geocaching Adventures

Garagedude and I enjoy placing caches. Some give numbers to those who are eager to build up theirs, some take geocachers to places they were not aware of.

TODAY, I recieved the following log regarding a cache I hid in Kernville. It made me proud to have hidden a cache that has given such joy to geocachers. I am pleased that the Museum in Kernville has shown us such courtesy and gone out of their way for us,

Ready to Hide Your First Geocache?
Geocaching AdventuresOne of the rarely spoken, but obvious, truths about Geocaching is that there wouldn’t be any geocaches if someone didn’t spend the time to plan, assemble, hide, and post them. For me, hiding is as much fun as finding geocaches. In August of 2003, I wrote an article on how to go about hiding a cache. Having gained a lot of experience in the last two years it seemed like a good time to update it. The “style” of cache hides has become a lot more varied, and the discussions of what makes a good hide continue to occupy geocachers.

 Quantity Caching
Geocaching Adventuresaka: It's all about the numbers
disclaimer: If you are not into numbers, don't read the following information.

With more and more urban areas gaining greater cache densities, quantity caching is becoming more popular. If you are going to drive 1-2 hours to a location to cache, why not hit as many caches as possible while you are in the area. I have had the opportunity to power cache with some of Southern California's finest cachers and the following information is comprised of what I learned from each of them. Thanks to EMC, Team Dakiba, Ventura Kids, Cachefan, Ranboze, Stantastic, Bob Moore, The Widget, GarminArmin, Cachepal, Zombie Tribe and others.
